WEDNESDAY RED MARKETS BLUETONGUE UPDATE

As from WEDNESDAY 9th OCTOBER we intend to sell Cattle and Sheep from The Bluetongue Restricted Zone at our Red Slaughter Only Market

VENDORS FROM THE RESTRICTED ZONE WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING

**Animals must arrive on the day of the sale no earlier than one hour after sunrise.This condition will not apply after 27th October.

**Vehicles/trailers must be washed and cleansed at the market and sprayed with insecticide.

**Multiple pick-ups are permitted in the Restricted Zone provide they move direct from the last pick-up and they are not unloaded during the pick up.

Following the sale Restricted Zone animals must go direct to slaughter at a designated abattoir outside the zone or any abattoir within the zone within 24 hours of the conclusion of the market.
